On the afternoon of Sunday 14th July, West Chiltington & Thakeham Women’s Cricket Team would love to welcome COGS to their cricket ground in Abingworth, Thakeham to play a charming game of cricket. We then further propose a return game of football at the same ground on Sunday 1st September.

Cricket is full of obscure rules. We intend to ignore almost all of them. No LBW or silly points just a couple of bats, a ball (possibly a soft cricket ball) a bit of running between wickets, hopefully lots of laughter and of course a proper cricket tea with maybe a jug of Pimms or two.

The exact format of the game will be decided nearer the time depending on the number of people interested and their previous experience.
