Walking Football 40+ – Mon. 7-8pm

UPDATED September 2023.

This session is run independently by Crawley Old Girls (COGS), with FA Approved Coaches.  Please see below for further information on attending.

Walking Football is minimal-contact and is great for those who would like to play a slower paced game.  Whether you are a beginner, or have previously played but can no longer run around due to injury, Walking Football is a great way to be active, have fun and meet new friends.

Please also watch this video to get an idea of what you’ll be letting yourselves in for….  Basically, great fun with a great group of women, is what will greet you.

It’s great for women who want to learn to play, as well as those who may be coming back from injury or those who just enjoy playing a slower paced game.

Getting active at age 40+ is really important for not only mental health but physical health too and you’ll meet some brilliant women while you’re playing. If you’ve not played before this is an ideal session for you to start.  If you are going through peri-menopause or menopause being active is really important and we will help you get through it!

We play outdoors on an astro pitch which is also used for hockey and has a lovely new surface, so please wear astro trainers and not studded boots.

Sessions will involve a warm up, some practices and a game at the end and it will all be fun and enjoyable regardless of anyone’s ability.
