The Crawley Community Awards are held every year to celebrate all that’s good in Crawley. After multiple nominations, Amy Fazackerley was informed that the Crawley Old Girls had been included in the final shortlist for the Group Achievement category.
An independent judging panel, made up of of representatives from Crawley Borough Council, The Hawth, The Crawley Observer and local community support workers, met and selected the shortlist from more than 360 applications.
The evening took the form of a stage presentation and winners were awarded a trophy and framed certificate.
It was an extremely humbling evening with some fantastic charities showcased and showed a really heartwarming side of the town that not many people get to see. So many volunteers help amazing groups and it was great to see. We were extremely humbled and delighted to be presented as the Winner of the Group Achievement category.
