Sponsorship Opportunities – COGS & #OGWC19.

COGS’ KIT.

There are several sponsorship opportunities we are offering to enable us to continue the work of promoting Women’s Recreational Football and raise awareness of opportunities for “older” women to learn and play football.  If you take a look at our website, you can see the adventures we have been involved in and there are plenty more in the future.

Since its inception, the Crawley Old Girls (COGS) has had no regular income from women attending COGS’ sessions, as they are run for us by the Crawley Town Community Foundation.  Since forming our Constituted Group in November 2018, we have been able to apply for our own funding for one of the projects we have set up, COGS & Care Homes (C&CH) and have subsidised our own tracksuit tops.  We have also purchased our own match shirts over the last 4 years, which have been used for training, as well as matches.

Now, we have set up a relationship with Premier Sports, who we have purchased our new Mitre tracksuit tops from, we are looking at having our own training tops, which will be designed with our logo and initials on the front.  As there were nearly 70 of us who purchased a subsidised tracksuit top, we are now looking at finding a sponsor who will help with the purchase of our training tops.  We are happy to have a Company name on the back, provided it is the right fit for us.

As well as training tops, it would also be great for everyone to have a holdall to put their equipment in, so there is another opportunity there.

“OLD GIRLS” WORLD CUP FOOTBALL FESTIVAL (over 30s) #OGWC19 – FRANCE 2019 – DURING THE FIFAWWC.

We, along with the Canterbury Old Bags and Mochdre Lionesses, are organising an Event, in Soissons, during the FIFA Women’s World Cup, in France.  This is being played at Soissons FC on the 21st June (FIFAWWC Rest Day) and we will be followed by the BBC Inside Out – South East team, as well as running our own social media and being promoted by local media, not only in the UK but in France.

There are plenty of costs involved to run this Festival and we have been running our own fundraising events to raise some money.  However, we would still like to talk to anyone who would be interested in helping with some of the costs of running such an event.

If you would like to get in touch with us, please email Carol Bates at cogscrawley@gmail.com.  Many thanks!
