COGS’ National Women’s Recreational Football Festival – 16th June 2018.

We are extremely pleased to announce that we will be holding our Inaugural National Women’s Recreational Football Festival on June 16th 2018, at Crawley Town FC.

The games will be played, on the 3G, opposite the Stadium and we have use of the Stadium facilities throughout the afternoon.   Full details are below and you can download the following documents here:

This will be a day to showcase the growing participation in Women’s Recreational Football and the enjoyment that women have from being able to play, whether it be as a beginner/improver, or as someone who has come back into the game.  All the details can be found on the Invite and if you have any queries, please contact   Spaces are limited so they will be on a first come, first served basis. We will have some special guests, a World Cup theme and a celebration of women who love the beautiful game!

 Over 30?  Not playing in a League? Want to have some fun playing football?

Come and join us for our Inaugural National Women’s Recreational Football Festival!

Games will be 7v7 (Players – min. 7, max. 10).  Once we have received all the team entries, we will allocate the same ability level to each group.

You will know which group to put your teams in, to make it fair for everyone.

You may also include 2 x Under 30s in each team but only 1 Under 30 will be eligible to play at any one time.

Every player will receive a medal.  There will be no trophies, as this day will be all about enjoyment and participation.

The Festival will commence at 12.30pm to enable everyone to get there and will continue for the afternoon.  Once finished, the Redz Bar (licensed) will remain open for a BBQ and some good music for everyone to enjoy a few drinks on a Summer evening!  Refreshments will also be available throughout the afternoon. There will be a raffle, with the proceeds going to a designated Women’s Charity (tba) and no doubt plenty of entertainment!  We will have a list of hotel accommodation, shortly, should you wish to stay.
